Bloggers!
What is the world coming to!
Again, opinion based.
But i am sure, the general consensus an populus will agree with what i have to say on this issue.
That being, the fact that fake is NOT beautiful --------->
Most in particular in relation to women, as mean appear to be less concerned about their physical image than women.
Excluding the obvious striving for muscular and ripped bodies.
But this in particular, is my biggest hate about the fairer gender of the 2 (as i normally have the utmost respect for women.
This all spawns from a news report i saw on television show A Current Affair.
About how the American obsession of Beauty Pagaents extends all the way to child/infant/ toddler is now appearing to be penetrating and makeing its way into Australian Culture.
This is not acceptable. To start with need i not mention that this is not the way that kids
can actually remain kids. The world we live in today forces them to grow up so very fast compared to even 20 years ago.
NOW!
Tell me what is RIGHT about this image----->
Girls, not even into double digits of years alive.
Dolled up to look like adults in front of a room of competing and obsessive parents, who make it their sole aim to live through their children for a childhood dream that they never lived through.
Its not the kids fault they are sunject to such things.
I refer to the movie "Little Miss Sunshine"
A beautiful story, which in the end, the little girl learnt that true beauty is in personality. When you are a kid BE A FUCKING KID.
Fake nails, fake tan, skimpy outfits, exposed skin, makeup, hair extensions hair spray, lipstick.
All these cosmetics to make a child look like an undeveloped teenager.
WHERE in the dictionary does that define beauty.
Dont get me wrong, I am an advocate for makeup.
I mean originally it was used as a means to compliment and enhance the features of the inidividuals most attractive facial assets, highlight the eyes with mascara and eyeliner.
Blush to give your cheeks definition, a light layer of foundation to hide small blemished and give you a smooth complexion. Its the sheer basics that most people overlook.
I refer to the picture at the top of the page as the most extreme version of what I am talking about.
Nobody wants to be seen with an oompa loompa of fake tan.
I will admit, a fake tan, done well, with quality product, can look good.
Tan is sexy, but the fake tan fades, and can become hideous.
Personally i like a more pale/porcelain and fair skinned type woman.
But i do understand the obsession and love of darker skin.
But things a minor as hair extensions, fake nails.
They are all walls to hide behind because there is an insecurity or need to feel as if you need to "look" sexy to be accepted. This does not apply to all women, but those that have ever accessory and make-up product known to man, and doll it on in layers, is purely ridiculous.
There is also nothing wrong with putting in a little effort to look good and feel good about yourself.
But compared to decades gone by, its less of a "want" to look good.
And has developed into a "need" to look good.
In the age of photoshop, supermodels, and sexism.
It has branched into everday culture that fake is acceptable.
But alas, realists, such as myself. See it for what it actually is.
A sick sick habit promoted by commercialism to spin money.
Turning the cosmetic industry into potentially one of the biggest in the world.
All for the sake of acheiving a personal feeling of happiness.
By hiding behind and using make up as a way of feeling attractive.
Whatever happened to the time of image not mattering, and being happy with what you got?
I think the time is long gone. And i am just ranting outdated idealistic views.
There will be many and varying views regarding this latest outlook.
But frankly, I could care less. Women like the above sicken me.
It tarnishes the quality of what women are about.
As highlighted, it is usually extreme cases that are the worst.
But it stems throughout all women. The urge and need to wear make up.
As if its habitual. Society expects perfection, and we are constantly trying to be that.
There is so much more that could be said on this topic.
But i shall not. It is disturbing and sickening.
That is all...

Fake is NOT beautiful.

Why is it so?
Time for another tirade i think.
There are quite a few things in life andthings in general that really irk me.
And just like anyone else, i have a right to express what it is that does.
I hate that i am judged because i single out stereotypes and shoot them down because i dont agree with a particular way of thinking.
Though what impresses me least, and ill say it again, is the superficial and shallow standards of our society.
I mean 50 years ago if you asked what qualified someone to be "hot" not that they used that phrasing. They would have told you its someone who is balanced, level-headed, intelligent, and pulling their own income.
These days you ask someone what quilifies someone to be hot, most guys would say, a skinny chick with a big rack, or "tight ass" or "hot legs."
Gone are the days where "hot" simply meant temperature lol.
And im disgusted that for a girl to feel good about herself or to think she looks good, she has got to overdose on make-up, wear extensions, or just hide underneath layers of artificial colours. And dont get me started on some of the clothes.
I find the context in which people use former taboo words with such ease a disturbing trend especially amongst the younger generations "c**t, slut" and many others of the like. And the sexing up of younger children, especially in pre pubescent girls, its sickening, wearing mini-skirts, crop tops at that age. Its inviting the perverts and sick fucks to take them off the street. And the parents arent much better.
But back to my point of shallowness and superficiality... I just cant understand why designer brands, slutty clothing, make-up, nails, hair extensions, peircings and tatoos, hot bodies and muscles have replaced a good quality personality, and wanting to be treated well by a good quality person. Its just purely mind blowing and not understandable...
Plus why should guys who dont sleep with heaps of women for the hell of it, such as myself, or girls who dont put out because they value themselves, why, WHY. Is it so hard for people like us to get anywhere with people be it in relationships or in social circles, why should we have to suffer persecution when we are the last of a dying breed of good quality upstanding and moralled people, and actually KNOW how to treat people with respect, rather than just objectifying them.
That is all.
Oh by the way i want allow criticism of an expression of my opinion, please value my basic human right of freedom of speech, if your gunna criticise do so contructively without insults please.

Modern Stereotypes
Hi bloggers!
My latest ailment, as you probably guessed.
Its about modern stereotypes. And what inspired such a blog you might ask?
I was on a train trip home today, there were some truanting schoolgirls that were at the beach and on the train trip home with me.
And nearly the whole time they were debating and coming to heated points over which 'group' of guys they think are the hottest. Which got me to thinking. Why on earth would lumping an individual into a group/stereotype/clique make them and more or less attractive than someone who would be classed as 'normal'
Being as young as I am i can at least make partial comment on this issue.
Having lived it myself and seen this way of thinking throughout my own school years.
Stereotypes seem to be a way of gaining social acceptance and identity.
In my experience music and other forms of popular culture, media, movies, TV shows have some bearing in this way of thinking. And it seems to stem from genres.
Even something as superficial as the way you dress or do your hair immediately gives people the right to lump you into a sterotype.
A side fringe and skinnies make you emo.
Baggy black trousers and a band shirt make you a metalhead or goth.
Flannelette shirt makes you a hick/bogan.
Torn jeans make you artsy or alternative.
Canterbury pants and nike cap make you a lad.
And people play on these, as i said, for a sense of identity, making it 'a way of life'
What a load of shit.
It all starts in your school years. Usually in the later primary school/early high school years.
If you are smart, your a geek or nerd.
If you are normally seen alone you are a loner.
If you are sporty, you are a jock.
If you have heaps of friends you are popular and respected.
And many other labels to give you identity in you're peeps eyes.
I have never understood how this makes people less or more attractive, and i try not to understand the minds of teenagers, hormones raging, puberty rampant.
It is a very confusing time of each of our lives.
I personally have no time for stereotypes and try to avoid them.
But as happens people will always place labels on you to define you.
I am friends with predominantly girls, some of whom are exes, so naturally im a player.
A girl has mainly guy mates, and naturally she is a slut, cause OBVIOUSLY she sleeps with them all, its all bullshit, how the hell can your social network define what sort of person you are.
And even your actions, how you act can have people define you.
And if you dont fit into the 'norm' of social structure in your younger years.
You are subject to ridicule and/or persecution and hate.
The main problem is you cannot reason with people in this mindset.
Frankly you shouldnt bother trying to either.
People are entitled to their opinions and thoughts. And we will always be labelled and stereotyped until people grow up and realise lifes too short to worry about it.
We are the way we are for a reason, we drift in and out of crowds and groups of friends.
We never truelly find a true sense of self identity until its too late.
We wander aimlessly through life searching for its meaning.
We are born, we live, we die. That's it.
Maybe im reading too much into this aspect of young life.
If you find solace and identity within a set stereotype, all the best to you.
We all find something to hold on to to give our life a meaning and purpose.
I just personally find it superficial and utterly pointless.
Ive gone from a boyband loving, eminem clothing wearing wigger, and have evolved into an almost unable to be stereotyped being, and its the difference that makes me who i am.
Maybe i can be heaped into a social category, but frankly.
It doesnt bother me. I dress comfortably. I listen to music i connect with.
I hang with a wide array of people from different nationalities, music tasted, sexuality and social status. And thats the way i like it.
I am not here to say im more right or any better than anyone else.
But really, answer me, what is the point of labels and stereotypes.
Just a thought .... thanks for reading :)
